OFSTED
The last Ofsted inspection was in July 2025 (and previously, an ungraded inspection in January 2024).
"The values of ‘love, courage, respect, aspiration and curiosity’ are embodied by the pupils at this exceptional school. Pupils describe their school as being like ‘another home’ because of the support provided. Pupils flourish because they know that all staff ‘want the best for them’."

SIAMS
The SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican & Methodist Schools) visit also happened in May 2016, with the Inspector noting how we consistently achieve above national standards and how Sonning is always striving for excellence.
"This cohesive community understands and exhibits the vision and values that are firmly established in the school. Staff, governors, pupils and parents know what it means to build strong foundations for pupils, academically and personally. The school has made sure that the vision and values are simple and clear. As one parent commented, ‘Sonning is a shining example… because it truly lives and breathes every value it promises.’"
