The primary aim of the school is to ensure that all children are able to access all aspects of the school’s provision in order to achieve the highest possible standards of progress and achievement in relation to their individual starting points. The Pupil Premium, a Government led initiative, provides additional school funding and is allocated each year to support the learning, development and achievement of its most vulnerable children so that life chances are enhanced and attainment gaps are narrowed for these children. Schools are free to spend this additional spending as they see fit and are held accountable as to how the money is used. Schools are also required to make public a summary of how the funding has been allocated and its impact.
This funding runs from April to April and a summary of the 2015-2016 spend will be available here in April 2016. Please see the document below for a summary of 2014-2015 spending.
