In the Early Years at Sonning children are encouraged to be independent and develop good behaviours' for learning, which will travel with them through the rest of the school.
The curriculum is taught through a topic-based approach and children are able to learn through play as well as being challenged through adult directed tasks.
Working in partnership with parents is vital in the Early Years and throughout school. Home visits are organised at the beginning of the year to ensure that practitioners and parents meet before the child starts school.
